Abstract. During the last 20 years we have seen re-emergence of diseases; emergence new diseases in locations and witnessed outbreaks varying intensity duration. Spatial epidemiology plays an important role understanding patterns disease how they change over time across space.The aim this paper is to bring together a public health geospatial data science perspective provide framework that will facilitate integration geographic information spatial analyses at different stages response so these methods can be effectively used enhance surveillance monitoring, intervention strategies (planning implementation response) both short- long-term forecasting.To demonstrate elements it utilized, selected three case studies ranging from current global COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic 2020 more historical examples such as John Snow Cholera outbreak 1854 Ebola 2014 West Africa.A variety including descriptive statistics, well for analysing were used. The reveal sources infection, connectivity between locations, delineate zones containment show spread globally locally space time.
